Tekashi 6ix9ine Reveals to Judge That Lil Wayne Influenced Him To Join Blood Gang

This week, transcripts were released regarding Tekashi 6ix9ine’s involvement in a racketeering scandal that left him behind bars since November of 2018. Apparently, 69 revealed blood gang members in the hip hop industry which has created a frenzy in the hip hop world. It was already reported that the set “Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods” was under investigation for a string of crimes and 69 has outed many celebrities such as Jim Jones and Cardi B as members affiliated with the notorious gang.

In Tekashi 6ix9ine’s testimony, not only did he out members of the gang, he also has outed Lil Wayne as a Blood gang member associated with a different set. In the transcripts, 69 revealed that Lil Wayne was the main person to advocate gang culture to him and influenced him to get involved with gang culture, specifically Nine Trey. Here’s what he had to say:

“At the time when I was coming up in the industry, I met Lil Wayne from Young Money. He really took me under his wing. I ain’t have my father growing up, but with Wayne it was just natural. He told me all about gang life. He explained to me about the culture. He introduced me to gang life. He inspired me. He’s the reason I became a blood.”

Daniel Hernandez, known as Tekashi 6ix9ine

So far, Lil Wayne has not released a comment but we can only imagine he would be upset that his name came up in the transcripts.
